William "Bill" E. Beagle, Sr.

William E. (Bill) Beagle, Sr., 78, Atchison, Kansas died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the home of his son.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery, Rushville, Missouri. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, Feb. 26th from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Bill was born December 25, 1935 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Jack and Theresa Paolucci Beagle. He attended St. Joseph's Elementary School, Washington Elementary School and Atchison High School.
He and Wanda High were united in marriage on August 13, 1954 in Cummings, Kansas. Mrs. Beagle preceded him in death on February 27, 2008 following fifty-three years of marriage.
Bill was employed with Russell Lumber Company for ten years and then became employed with McCormack Distillery Company in Weston, Missouri where he served for thirty-two years as a shipping clerk retiring in 1998.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie (Matt) Wilburn, Atchison, KS, Angie Beagle, Atchison, KS, two sons, William E. "Bill" (Debbie) Beagle, Jr., Atchison, KS, Mark Anthony (Courtney) Beagle, Leavenworth, KS, twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, Justin Michael Wilburn, Jace Beagle and two brothers, Nick Beagle and Jerry Beagle.
