William "Howdy" Bennett

William was born Feb 2, 1954, in Atchison, Kansas, son of John D Bennett and Anna L Bennett-Wilkinson he attended schools in Atchison, Kansas.

He was employed at Atchison City Courthouse and Lineaweaver Construction Co, Leavenworth KS

William was a member of Campbell Chapel AME Church, in his spare time he loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include a son William "Duke" Bennett, a stepdaughter Mildred Dowd.

Homegoing service will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
