Vicky Lynn Pennington, 59, Potter, Kansas, died Sunday, November 22, 2015, at her residence.
Services will be Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Terpack, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until service time.
Vicky was born January 14, 1956, in Missouri the daughter of Charles Stagener and Lilly Parker. She graduated from Platte City High School.
She and Robert E. Pennington were united in marriage on May 17, 1980, in Platte City, Missouri.
She worked for many years at Hallmark in Leavenworth, following that employment she served as a correctional officer at the Lansing Correctional Facility. Her most recent employment was at Fargo Assembly in Atchison.
Vicky enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, and taking pictures of clouds. She collected angels and lighthouses. She loved riding motorcycles and joking around. She enjoyed a good cup of tea and just really loved life.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Pennington, Potter, KS, a son Jake Pennington and his fiancé Catherine James, Potter, KS, a daughter, Nicole (Paul) Dahl, Leavenworth, KS, a brother Chuck (Karla) Rairden, AZ, and a grandson J.D.
