Thomas "Pat" Patrick Morley

Thomas P. "Pat" Morley, 85, Atchison, Kansas died Monday May 11, 2015 at Atchison Senior Village.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB as celebrant. The body will be cremated following these services with burial of the cremains at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 15th from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Mount St. Scholastica and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom the final arrangements have been entrusted.
Pat was born March 25, 1930 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Dr. Aloysius R. and Mardell Patterson Morley. He attended St. Benedict's Elementary School graduating from Maur Hill Prep School.
He and Mildred H. "Millie" Pucka were united in marriage on November 8, 1952 at St. Benedict's Church in Atchison.
Pat served in the United States Air Force from November 7, 1950 until his honorable discharge on October 30, 1953.
He was employed with Rockwell International Company Credit Union as manager for over thirty years until his retirement in March, 1992.
He was a lifelong member of St. Benedict Parish of Atchison. In his free time he enjoyed working in his yard, tending the flower gardens at home and hunting. A history buff, he read extensively to keep informed of history information and was always able to share his knowledge with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of sixty two years, Millie Morley, Atchison, KS, a son, Kevin M. (Marlene) Morley, Leavenworth, KS, two daughters, Diane E. (Kevin) Gray, Paola, KS, Patti Moore, El Dorado, KS, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Rick Moore, a sister-in-law, Sister Mariella Pucka, OSB, two brothers, Richard B. "Bud" Morley and William R. "Bill" Morley.
