Thelma J. Taylor, 83, Atchison, Kansas, formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Services will be Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mall Towers Community Room, 103 South Seventh Street, Atchison, Kansas, with Rev. Nancy J Kollhoff, officiating. Private burial will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to Atchison Boys and Girls Club and may be left in care of the funeral home. The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas is in charge of the final arrangements.
Thelma was born January 1, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of James and Clara Culp. She attended school in Forbes, Missouri.
Thelma was married to Ed Hunt. Mr. Hunt preceded her in death. She then married Lyle Duane Taylor on August 26, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Taylor also preceded her in death.
She was employed with Toastwell Company in St. Louis, Missouri for eighteen years and then as a security officer in St. Louis until her retirement.
Survivors include a sister, Arfa Anderson, Guthrie, OK.
