Sparkle Nicole Ross

Sparkle Ross, 24, Atchison, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at First Christian Church, 7 ^th and Santa Fe Street with Rev. Tony Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday, April 28 ^th from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Sparkle was born February 7, 1990 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Henrietta "Henny" Ross and Brad Oliver, Sr. She attended Atchison Elementary School and Atchison High School. Sparkle loved to spend time with her daughter whom she loved with all her heart. She also loved playing basketball, track and gymnastics as a child. Sparkle completed her schooling getting her GED in Atchison at the Adult Learning Center.

Sparkle had formerly worked with Fargo Assembly Company of Atchison.

Survivors include her mother Henrietta "Henny" Ross, Atchison, KS, her father Brad Lydell (Lorri) Oliver, Sr., Centralia, KS, step-father Andre Porter, Atchison, KS, a daughter, Samyah Ross, Atchison, KS, a sister Crystal Ross, Atchison, KS, two brothers, Louis Gray, Atchison, KS, Danny Ross, Atchison, KS, two step-sisters Paradise Robinson, Kansas City, KS, Andrea Porter, Leavenworth, KS, three step-brothers, Dammian Lydell Sayles, Junction City, KS, Brad Lydell Oliver, Jr., Salt Lake City, Utah, Bryan Lyndell Oliver, El Paso, TX, maternal grandmother, Winifred Hood, St. Joseph, MO, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, great grandfather, two grandfathers and paternal grandmother and great grandmother.
