Sherry A. Greenly, 57, Topeka, Kansas formerly of Atchison, Kansas died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka, Kansas.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Second Christian Church in Atchison, Kansas with Rev. Paul Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Atchison, Kansas. Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 13th from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas.
Sherry was born December 2, 1959 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Ed and Ann Birch Beadles. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1978. Following in her mother's footsteps she then attended Northeast Kansas Area Vocational Technical School graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Sherry practiced nursing in the Topeka community for 33 years, she loved caring for the elderly best of all. She really missed her elders and staff at Brewster Place most of all.
She and Kevin A. Greenly were united in marriage on February 2, 1989 in Lansing, Kansas and made their home in Topeka, Kansas.
Sherry was of the Christian faith. In her spare time she enjoyed making jewelry and especially enjoyed fishing. An avid sports fan, Sherry loved "March Madness" and the Chiefs football team.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin A. Greenly, of the couple's home in Topeka, KS; two sons, Kevin A. Greenly, Jr., Topeka, KS; Trenton Alexander Greenly, Topeka, KS; two daughters, Brandy Rene (Robert) Bartron, Topeka, KS; Bianca S. Greenly, Topeka, KS; two brothers, Michael Beadles, Topeka, KS; Mark Beadles, McKinney, TX; two sisters, Bronna Woods, Stillwell, KS; Linda Crith, Topeka, KS and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She will always be remembered for her kindness to others and love of music.
