Shaunte L. Williams, 30, Atchison, Kansas died Monday, November 21, 2011 east of Atchison as a result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Second Christian Church with Rev. Paul Kelley officiating. The body will be cremated following these services. The family have suggested memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses and may be left with Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Shaunte was born February 27, 1981 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey moving later with his family to Beaumont, Texas where he attended schools, graduating from high school there.
He was a Walmart associate serving as a greeter and cashier for the past year at the Atchison store.
He was a member of Second Christian Church of Atchison where he served as an usher and a member of St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas. He enjoyed playing basketball, spending time with his nieces and nephews and participating in his church related activities.
Survivors include his parents, Shay and Patricia Williams, Beaumont, TX, four sisters, Majuama Wilson, Browns Mills, NJ, Shakia Williams, Austin, TX, Teoni Weathers, Allentown, N.J., Katonya Weathers, Allentown, N.J., three brothers, Wykeen Gill, Atchison, KS, Stedman Williams, Beaumont, TX, Shay Williams, Jr., Beaumont, TX, grandparents, Burl and Annie Williams, Beaumont, TX and Izoria Wilson, Pemberton, NJ.
