Sharon E. Boldridge, 72, Atchison, Kansas died Monday, February 17, 2014, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri following a lengthy illness.
Memorial funeral services will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron McCrerey officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, Feb. 22nd from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be left with the family.
Sharon was born December 16, 1941 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of John W. and Irene Churchill Burnett. She attended Atchison Elementary Schools, graduating from Atchison High School.
She and Norman B. Boldridge were united in marriage on August 23, 1961 in Atchison.
Sharon served for several years as a paraprofessional with the USD # 409 School District until her health failed.
She was a member of the Grace Communion attending services in St. Joseph, Missouri. An avid cook she enjoyed preparing meals and sharing with her family and many friends. In her spare time she practiced her talents in interior design and decorating in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Norman B. Boldridge of the couples home, three sons, Eric (Maggie) Boldridge, Emporia, KS, Greg Boldridge, Atchison, KS, Curtis Boldridge, Atchison, KS, three daughters, Monica Burnett, New York, NY, Krystal Johnson, West Des Moines, IA, Geri Johnson, Olathe, KS, two brothers, John W. Burnett, New Brunsville, TX, Terry Burnett, Pasadena, CA, two sisters, Carolyn Boldridge, Atchison, KS, Sarah Jane Bird, Pensacola, FL, and three grandchildren, Zoè, Mateo and Leighton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Georgia Ann.
