Sara Kresin

Sara Rae Kresin, of Atchison, KS, passed on December 31, 2024, at the age of 28. We know that Lyle and Amber were there to greet her.

Sara was born on March 15, 1996, in St. Joseph, MO. She was loved and raised by her parents, Cathy (Dahl) Ebrecht and step-father, Donald Ebrecht and her daddy, Neal Homan. She was a graduate of Atchison High School and then earned her CNA.

Sara was loving, kind and could make any situation into a fun experience. She saw the beauty in everyone and everything. The memories of her unwavering courage will last in those that loved her forever. She would tell you, no matter what is going on in your life, never give up on those you love no matter how hard it may be. She shared her strength with anyone who ever needed her.

She loved her children, Maddox James Terrcero and Madilyn Jane Saird; they were the light of her life. She will always be cherished by her mother, Cathy Ebrecht; sisters, Georgia Thomason, Brittni Ebrecht and Jessica LaCruze; her brothers, Logan Kresin, Anthony Ebrecht, Dominic Homan, Dylan Homan and Alex Homan; her eight nieces and nephews, Quentin Chaney, Gabrial Thomason, Axel Thomason, Jasper LaCruze, Kameron Homan, Jaxon Homan, Lily Homan and Dominic Homan, Jr.; her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her village of mothers: Jhakeigh Jamvold, Stephanie Jamvold and Queenie Dunbar.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Amber Rose Shipley; maternal grandmother, Carol Dahl; and Paternal Great Grandma, Beverly Homan.

Sara's life will be remembered and celebrated on Tuesday, January 7th with a visitation from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home and a remembrance service on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 11:00 am. Memorials may be left to her children's care fund in care of the funeral home.
