Sandra C. "Sandy" Page, 62, Effingham, Kansas died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her home.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Rachel Dannar officiating. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Sandra was born January 15, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Dan L. F. and Fern Hess Coombs. She attended schools in Kansas City, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas, graduating from High School in Muncie, Indiana. She then attended and graduated from Benedictine College with a degree in Business Administration.
She and Kerry Marvin were united in marriage in 1971in Muncie, Indiana and later divorced. She and David W. Page were united in marriage on May 18, 1996 in Atchison, Kansas.
Sandy formerly was employed at the Atchison Leather Products Company and later owned and operated a retail store in Atchison called "Remember When". In 2002 she became employed in the accounting department with MGP Ingredients Company where she worked until her health failed.
Sandy was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed quilting, home projects, working with Habitat for Humanity and Corvette automobiles. Her greatest enjoyment in her free time was being with family on vacations, but she especially enjoyed spending quality time with her children and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, David Page of the couple's home at Paradise Lake, her mother, Fern Coombs, Olathe, KS, three sons, Aaron (Stephanie) Marvin, Salem, OR, Paul (Desiree) Marvin, Raymore, MO, Kurtis (Katy) Page, Cummings, KS, a daughter, Nikki (Josh) Jackson, Kansas City, MO, a sister, Sue (John) McClintick, Walnut, KS and her grandchildren, Andrew Knowlton, Alex Marvin, Elena Marvin, Brodie Page, Carter Page, Shannon Pursel and Luke Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dan L.F. Coombs, II, and a brother Dan Coombs, III.
