Ryan Ray White, age 41, of Atchison, KS, died July 26, 2026.
A visitation with the family will be on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:30-7 PM at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Ryan will be cremated following the visitation. Memorials may be left to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Ryan was born on December 15, 1984, in Atchison, KS, and is the son of Dennis and Nancy Thummel. He attended Atchison Public Schools until he decided that working was more of his thing. He was a welder by choice, that was truly what he loved. He spent countless hours working on vehicles, including his own and anyone around him that needed help. He worked as a painter for several years and also as an operator for a couple different quarries but mostly enjoyed the dynamite.
Ryan was a jack of all trades and master of none. He knew just enough about everything to show up and lend a hand to those who needed him. He enjoyed photography, mainly just selfies of himself. He loved his animals, especially his pet snakes, cats and dogs.
He will be missed by his family and friends, especially his children, Allyson White, Mariska McCoole-White (Nevaeh Torgler), Amanda White (Cameron Johnson), Kaleb White (Tia Howard), and Adalynn White; his granddaughter, Izzyanna Cluke; his siblings, Brandon Thummel, Jeremiah Crouch, Kasandra Alexander, Miranda Thummel; and his best friend and like a brother, John (Ashley) Anderson. He was previously married to Shayna White, and they remained close as they raised their family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents, Shirley White and Melburn Hauk.
