Ruth E. Reinhart

Ruth E. Reinhart, age 84, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died peacefully Saturday, August 26, 2023, at her residence in Atchison, KS.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10:30 am at St. Benedict Church, Atchison, KS. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, CO. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Ruth was born in Manhaska, KS, on October 28, 1938, the daughter of Lester Edgett and Mildred M. (Tidyman) Edgett. She attended schools in Alameda, CO.

Ruth was most importantly a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed playing bridge, travelling, golfing and line dancing but she loved the time spent with her family, close friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her parents, a son Steven Vito LaBarbara, all of her siblings, Les, John, Bob, Joan, Richard and Marvin preceded her in death as did her husbands Vito LaBarbara and Bob Reinhart. She is survived by a son, John LaBarbara and his wife, Angela, of Atchison, KS, and by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
