Richard was raised in Atchison, Kansas with parents Daniel and Mary Lindstrom and brothers Nicholas and Michael Lindstrom. Later, his family grew to include many members of the Kempin and Nelson families as well as many friends whom he recognized as family. Though he had no children on his own, children seemed to gravitate towards him. He was always there to help babysit and liked to make the kids laugh. Richard enjoyed his life, always finding the sunshine behind every cloud and leaving us all with memories of fun times and crazy adventures. He could irritate you one minute and have you laughing the next. Richard never knew how many lives he touched through his friendships. Years from now, we will continue to share stories of great memories made with him. Richard will forever live in our hearts.
