Rhonda June Hubbard

Rhonda Hubbard, age 69, of Atchison, Kansas, passed peacefully on August 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Rhonda was born on September 15, 1955, in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of the late William Ruhnke and Wanda (Kiger) Ruhnke. She attended Troy High School.

Rhonda married Allen Hubbard on March 22, 1974, in Troy, Kansas. They have shared fifty-one years together, raising their family and cherishing their time with each other. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandma and enjoyed her time as a homemaker raising her children. Rhonda was a great cook and loved to gather her family together for meals. She was always happy to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and going camping at Perry Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Hubbard, of their home in Atchison; her children, Todd (Trista) Hubbard, Doniphan, KS, and Amber Hubbard, Kansas City, KS; her sister, Glenda Ortega, Upland, CA; and her three grandchildren, Madelyn, Kiger and Tommy Gates.

Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
