Regina Hund

Regina M. Hund passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, with her family by her side following a brief illness.

Regina was born on August 24, 1960, to George Harold Betts Sr. and Mary Ann (Davenport) Betts. Regina worked as a security guard for Atchison Casting/Bradken for over 30 years, retiring in 2025. She was a wonderful cook and baker, an avid cookbook collector, even handwriting cookbooks for everyone in her family. Her greatest accomplishment was her son Robert. Who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Robert; her sister Mary Johanna Thummel; brothers Louis H. Betts and George H. Betts Jr.; a niece Kimberly Dixon.

Regina is survived by her brother Paul (Angela) Betts; Sister-in- law Karen Betts; niece & caregiver Jodi Coffey; and several other nieces and nephews.

Cremation care has been provided by the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Per her request no formal service will be held. A private burial will take place at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Rushville, Mo.

Memorial contributions can be left to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
