Phillis J. Muntz

Phillis Muntz, 88, Atchison, Kansas, died Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at her residence.

Memorial services will be Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Phillis was born June 2, 1936, in Vermillion, Kansas, the daughter of Ira B. and Bessie (Hazel) Silver. In her youth her family moved to southern Missouri where she attended school.

She worked in housekeeping for the Ellsworth County Hospital. Phyllis enjoyed shopping and putting together puzzles. One of her great passions was tending to roses, she had a rosebush everywhere she lived.

Survivors include her two sons, Ronald (Melissa) Muntz, Atchison, KS, Richard (Greg Lowe) Muntz, Philadelphia, PA, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings.
