Paula Sue (Maycroft) Andrews

Paula Sue (Maycroft) Andrews, 43 years old, of Atchison, Kansas, died unexpectedly on September 6, 2023, at her home.

Services to celebrate Paula's life will be Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 3:00 pm at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Pastor George Baugh officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 2 pm on Sunday before the service.

Paula was born on October 12, 1979, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Paul R. Maycroft and Susan (Guatney) Maycroft. She attended elementary schools in Atchison and graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School. She attended Kansas University for a year studying business and psychology.

Her favorite part of life was being a mom to her boy. She enjoyed doing crafts, she loved owls and elephants and spending time with her nieces and nephews; she actually enjoyed all children. She was a people person and will be always remembered for her kind hearted nature.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Allen Andrews, Jr., who she married on May 21, 2016, at the Rushville Christian Church. Her pride and joy is her only son, Adam Ray Martinez. Additionally, she is survived by her mother, Susan (Joseph, Jr.) McCoole; sisters, Stephanie Maycroft (Daniel Barkus), Brandi McCoole (Victor Brewer), Megan (David) Rapson; an aunt, Mary Trower; and step siblings, Toby Kerley, Tommy Kerley and Gina Brown.

Her father, Paul Maycroft, preceded her in death.
