Patricia Lynn Arensberg, 61, Overland Park, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.
Services will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Cross Catholic School, Overland Park and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral home.
Patricia was born February 6, 1953, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond and Mary Ellen Regan Matthews. She attended school in Atchison graduating from Mount Saint Scholastica.
She was employed at Cherokee Animal Clinic as a veterinary assistant.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved her dogs.
Survivors include a daughter, Andi (Dave) Stone, South Lake, TX, two sons, Craig (Linda) Arensberg, Overland Park, KS, Michael Arensberg, Overland Park, KS, a sister, Donna Willming, Atchison, KS, a sister-in-law, Linda Underwood, Atchison, KS, five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Raymond "Butch" Matthews, David Matthews, a sister, Linda Rivers, and two nephews, Bryan Willming and Jonathon Rivers.
