Nora Ann Desalvo

Nora Ann DeSalvo, age 32, of Atchison, Kansas, formerly of Slidell, LA, died Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

Nora will be cremated and private family services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Slidell, Louisiana. The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.

Nora was born on December 11, 1988, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Randy Joseph DeSalvo and Tammy Dionne (Rageur) DeSalvo. She graduated from Northshore High School in Slidell, LA.

She was currently working as a cook at Paolucci's Restaurant in Atchison.

Nora had a good soul and always put everyone else first. She enjoyed spending time doing arts and crafts and being outdoors, especially riding four wheelers and getting muddy. Her favorite holiday was Halloween!

Survivors include her parents, Randy and Tammy DeSalvo; her son, Dixon Jay DeSalvo; two brothers, Brandon Marshell DeSalvo (Melanie Sabrina Stout), Joseph Allen David DeSalvo (Meagan Renay Hunt); her fiancé, Earl Clifford Thorne and his two children, Arianna and Nevaeh Thorne; ex sister-in-law, Kelsie Marie DeSalvo; nieces and nephews, Dameion, Serenity, and Leigha DeSalvo, Sophia Smith, Victoria Skye Sanders, Caroline Raine Sanders, Trinity Grace Stout, Ariana Summer Stout, Robert Edward McCormick, III., Krystal Carter, Louke Hunt, Chaize Hunt, Rosaleen Winder; godchildren, Madison and Isabella Dauzat; and her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her uncles, Floyd Wilson, Phillip DeSalvo, Carl Rageur, James DeSalvo; and her aunt, Donna Faye Rageur.
