Mary Noll Moorhead

Mary Noll Moorhead, age 95, passed away on September 29, 2017 at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
She lived previously in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Atchison, Kansas. She was born December 3, 1921 in Atchison, Kansas to the late Robert and Ida (Storch) Noll.
She attended high school at Mount St. Scholastica, Atchison and college at the University of Kansas. She was a member of St. Benedict's Church for over 50 years. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and PEO. Mary loved jazz, Jayhawk basketball and entertaining. She had an affinity for butterflies, travel, and playing bridge and dominoes with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Arthur Moorhead and her son, Thomas Moorhead, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (George) Marshall and Amanda Sue (Lawrence) Ross, and a brother, Robert Noll, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Benedict's Church, Atchison, Kansas. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, 7 Plantation Park Drive, Bluffton, South Carolina 29910 or they may be sent in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, 208 North 5th Street, Atchison, KS 66002 with whom the final care has been entrusted.
