Mary M. Klein, 83, Atchison, Kansas died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Atchison Medicalodge.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Benedict's Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A parish rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 17th at 11:30 A.M. at the church with visitation following until 1:00 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to Atchison Catholic School and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Mary was born September 7, 1929 in Seneca, Kansas the daughter of George Wilson Springer, Jr., and Anna Mae Morley Springer. She attended and graduated from St. Peter and Paul High School, Seneca and St. Mary College, Leavenworth, Kansas.
Mary served as a registered nurse for many years at the Atchison Hospital and for Dooley Center of Mt. Saint Scholastica until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Benedict's Church, Atchison, Kansas.
Mary M. Klein is survived by two sons, Mike (Kathy) Klein, Derby, KS and Pat (Joyce) Klein, Atchison, KS and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Springer and Bill Springer.
