Marsha Kaye Ham, 57, of Atchison, KS, died unexpectedly on February 21, 2025.
A funeral service will be Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11 am at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Marsha was born on June 9, 1967, in Wooster, OH, the daughter of Marshall Isaac Ratliff and Mary Jane Welsh. Her father died when she was a young age and Marsha was blessed with a stepfather, Benjamin Franklin Hudson. She was raised in West Virginia, before moving to Florida, where she loved sunbathing and spending the weekend at the beach with her boys.
She met David Ham, Jr., and they began dating in 1984, until marrying in 1990. They relocated to Weston, MO, in 2000. Marsha's most passionate role in life was being a strong mother who would defend and protect her kids always! Later in life, her number one reason for living was to love and spoil her grandkids. No one will ever be able to replace our "Nanny".
She will be loved and missed by her family, her husband, David Ham, Jr.; her boys, David Ham III, Daniel Ham, Domonik Ham; her brother, Marshall Isaac "Ike" Ratliff; her twin sister, Marilyn Ann (Ratliff) Stivers, and sisters, Bonnie "Michelle" Sipes Hudson, Mary Louise "Weezer" Hudson, Angela Sue Ratliff; and her ten grandchildren, Emma Kaye Ham, Benjamin Lafayette Ham, Cora Catherine Ham, Noami Rose Ham, Etta Grace Ham, Gwendolynn Louise Ham, David Edward Ham IV, Roxi Lynn Ham, Domonik Arthur Ham and Nora Kaye Ham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her Grandma Stout; Grandma and Grandpa Welsh; and daughter, Catherine Scarlett.
