Marie E. Stillman (known as ReeDee), 74, Atchison, Kansas received her "Wings" on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Atchison Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 7th from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Marie was born May 9, 1938 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She's the daughter of the late Catherine Campbell and John Wilson. She attended Bartlett School.
Marie and Donald H. Stillman, Sr., were wed in 1957. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Marie was a member of the Red Hat Society at Atchison Senior Village. She enjoyed all sorts of music (especially Gospel and James Brown) and dancing. She also enjoyed painting ceramics.
Cherishing her memory are three daughters, Marie (Kay) Quaye, Denver, CO, Viletta Stillman, St. Joseph, MO, Tracey Stillman, Atchison, KS four sons, Ricky Stillman, Sr., Atchison, KS, Donald Stillman, Jr., Alburquerque, NM, Gary Stillman, Atlanta, GA, Quentin Stillman, Leavenworth, KS, one brother, Robert Hill, St. Joseph, MO, twenty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
