Luke Reo Bilderback

Luke Reo Bilderback, age 29, passed away on April 16, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas with his eldest sister, Brooke, at his side.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, Apr. 23 ^rd from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home to assist with expenses. The family requests those attending to please wear a mask.

Luke was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on March 20, 1992 the son of Steven Bilderback and Vicki Goodpasture Emery.  Most of Luke's life he attended school at Atchison County Community schools and later graduated from Atchison High School in 2010.

Luke loved to work in concrete and held many jobs in that field.  He was a concrete finisher and one of the best in his field.

Luke leaves behind two children who were the light of his life, a daughter, Ja'Lynn Nevaeh and a son, Luke, Jr.  He also leaves his siblings, his best friend, Brooke Bilderback, Ashlea Laporte, Emma Jo Peek and Lexi and Gage Bilderback.  Two nephews who he loved with all his huge heart, his namesake Gunner Charles Reo Beech and Mavryk Hartwell Pace.

Luke is the grandson of Betty Bilderback and the late Charles Bilderback. Pauline Goodpasture and the late Frank Goodpasture and the late Lea Ann Goodpasture McCoole.
