LTC, Robert M. "Bob" Seute, United States Air Force, Ret., age 82, of Edmond, Oklahoma, died Wednesday July 19, 2023, at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 11:00 in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Kara Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Vernon Cemetery and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, 208 N. 5th Street, Atchison, Kansas 66002 with whom final arrangements have been entrusted.

Bob was born November 13, 1940, in Atchison, Kansas the son of Clarence and Arlene Pike Seute.  He graduated from Atchison County Community High School in Effingham, Kansas.

Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1963, until retiring in 1989, with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He and Helen Benion were united in marriage on May 30, 1978, in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Survivors include his wife Helen of the home in Edmond, Oklahoma; a son, Jeff Seute, Edmond, OK; a daughter, Susan Seute, Alexandria, VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
