Lorne Berdell Weston

Lorne Weston, 57, Atchison, Kansas, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Weston had requested no services. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Lorne was born May 19, 1965, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Israel Briggs, Jr. and Wanda Weston. He attended school in St. Joseph graduating from Central High School.

Out of High School Lorne was employed with Swift Food Processing in St. Joseph. He then went to work at Rockwell and later Bradken in Atchison as a tech-welder.

He and the former Moadonna Smith were united in marriage in Atchison, Kansas, December 7, 2006.

Survivors include his wife, Moadonna Weston, Atchison, KS, his mother, Wanda Briggs, Atchison, KS, a son Justin Woodson, Kansas City, MO, a daughter, LeMeece Hughes, Elberton, GA, numerous siblings and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Israel Briggs, Jr.
