Lonnetta Jean Williams

Lonnetta J. Williams, 47, Atchison, Kansas died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Timothy Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 9th from 11:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the church.

Lonnetta was born December 1, 1970 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Lonnie Bennett, Sr., and Louise Williams. She attended Martin East and Martin West Elementary Schools, graduating from Atchison High School. She then attended college.

Lonnetta served as a manager for the Cash Saver Store in Atchison. She enjoyed working and meeting with people and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Atchison, Kansas.

Survivors include her parents, Lonnie Bennett, Sr., and Louise Williams, both of Atchison, KS; two sons, Brandon Williams, St. Joseph, MO; Darrell Smith, Atchison, KS; three daughters, Shavonda Williams, Atchison, KS; Bianca Smith, Atchison, KS; Dayaunna Williams, Atchison, KS; two brothers, Darrell Jones, Topeka, KS; Lonnie Bennett, Jr., Lawrence, KS; four sisters, Jessica Williams, Atchison, KS; La Shell Jones-Herring, Atchison, KS; Kenya Jones, Atchison, KS; Diane Bennett, Lawrence, KS; and nine grandchildren.
