Lois Caroline Frickey

Lois C. Frickey, 88, Atchison, Kansas formerly of Vermillion, South Dakota died Monday, July 23, 2012 at Atchison Medicalodge.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at United Methodist Church, Vermillion, South Dakota. Interment will follow in the Bluff View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be for one hour preceding these services at the church. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Lois was born September 1, 1923, in Dallas, South Dakota, the daughter of Ernest and Nettie Haisch Blessing. She attended schools n Winner, South Dakota. Following High School graduation she attended Dakota Wesleyan University and later the University of Sioux Falls.
She and Merle Frickey were united in marriage on June 7, 1969, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mr. Frickey preceded her in death on January 6, 2006.
Survivors include three sons, Stephan Busch, Atchison, KS, David Busch, Atchison, KS, Harlan Busch, La Ceiba, Honduras, two sisters, Frances Wagner, Sioux Falls, S.D., Donna Mae Ostlund, Medford, OR, four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Rollins, Edna Leach and a brother, Melvin Blessing.
