Kendra J. Kemp, 30, Atchison, Kansas died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, February 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict's Church with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, Feb. 20th from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Achievement Services and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Kendra was born December 13, 1983 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of William "Tim" Kemp and Sarah J. Foster. She attended Central Elementary School, graduating from Atchison High School in 2004.
She was a member of St. Benedict Parish. Her enjoyments were listening to music, helping members of her family preparing meals in the kitchen and watching her DVD's.
Kendra was a client of Achievement Services working in their workshop.
Survivors include her mother and step father, Sarah J. and David Cummings, Atchison, KS, her father, William "Tim" Kemp, Sioux City, IA, two brothers, Christopher R. Kemp, Wisconsin, Devin J. Dexter, Atchison, KS, two half brothers, Tim Kemp, Jr, Garrett Kemp, three half sisters, Emily, Lacey and Serina, her maternal step grandfather, Charles Mercer, Sr., Atchison, KS.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wayne Foster and Joan Breuer and paternal grandparents, Onnie and Ruth Kemp.
