Kathleen Myers

Kathleen Myers, 93, Atchison, Kansas, died Friday, September 8, 2023, at Amberwell Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Benedict's Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A parish rosary will be Monday, at 12:00 P.M. and visitation will follow until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Atchison.

Kathleen was born November 25, 1929, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of John and Maurgerita M. Razo. She attended St. Benedict's Catholic School.

She and John Paul "Petey" Myers were married August 16, 1958, at St. Benedict's Church. Mr. Myers preceded her in death on September 19, 2006.

Kathleen was a devout Catholic attending mass as often as she could. She enjoyed shopping and working on crosswords. She loved gardening and planting flowers; she canned many tomatoes over the years. Kathleen was always up for a trip to the casino.

Survivors include two sons, JP (Rita) Myers, Fair Grove, MO, Rick (Joyce) Myers, Troy, KS, two daughters, Patty (Daniel) Gibson, Indian Hills, CO, Mary Myers, Honolulu, HI, two grandchildren, Ian Myers, Sarah Garoutte, and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent Razo, Johnny Razo, Louis Razo and a sister, Delores Boger.
