The body has been cremated. Private family services will be held. The Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
Karen was born February 3, 1961 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Orval Sayles, Sr. and Jessie Mae Brown Sayles. She attended Atchison Public Schools and Atchison High School.
Karen was formerly employed for fifteen years with Mount St. Scholastica in the kitchen until 2013.
Survivors include, a daughter, Erica N. Cluke, Atchison, KS, three sons, Vincent M. Cluke, Chicago, IL, Stephan M. Cluke, Bloomington, MN, Jeremy "Dion" Cluke, Chicago, IL, a brother, Charles Edward Sayles, Ayden, NC, three sisters, Beverley Ann Ray, Whiting, KS, Patricia Elaine Luster, Atchison, KS, Donna Denise Corbin, Junction City, KS and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Jessie Sayles and two brothers, Orval Sayles, Jr. and Gary Bruce Sayles.
