Judith Holtsclaw

Judith Ann "Judy" Holtsclaw, age 81, of Atchison, KS, passed peacefully on May 10, 2025.

Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling, MO, at a later date.

Judy was born on April 27, 1944, in St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Thomas Holtsclaw, Sr., and Charlene (Pape) Holtsclaw. She attended Lindburgh Elementary School and is a graduate of Lafayette High School. She enjoyed painting and working in her yard.

Judy moved to Atchison, Kansas, in 1996, and is survived by her loving companion, Max Atwood; two children, Jimmy Dick and Thomas Dick; a brother, Thomas (Deanna) Holtsclaw, Jr.; a sister, Vicki (Tim) Stafford; and several grandchildren; and her cat, Sox.
