Joyce A. Huninghake, 72, Atchison, Kansas died Friday, January 26, 2018 at Gran Villas with her loving family at her side.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 29, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Sharp officiating. Cremation will follow the services with interment at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 29th from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Joyce Huninghake Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Joyce was born November 2, 1945 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Henry F. and Shirley R. (Dittemore) Goodman. She attended Central and Franklin Elementary Schools and graduated from Atchison High School in 1964.
She was formerly employed at Rudolph's then Bromley Quarry, where she was licensed to blow dynamite then she worked at Rockwell International as a crane operator and then as a cashier at the former Wendy"s restaurant in Atchison. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Natalie (Steve) Barnett, Atchison, KS; Brandy (David) Witter, Rushville, MO; Mary Ann (Shawn) Holland, Atchison, KS; two sons, Larry M. (Alisha) Huninghake, Lansing, KS; Damon S. (Sherry) Huninghake, Leavenworth, KS; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
