Jovonnie D. Franklin

Jovonnie D. Franklin, 33, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 as the result of an automobile accident in Atchison, Kansas.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.

Jovonnie was born February 22, 1988 in Leavenworth, Kansas the son of Joseph and Sharna Wallace Franklin.  He attended schools in Atchison, Kansas graduating from Atchison High School.  He also attended Fort Scott College.

Jovonnie was employed in the construction field.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing; playing video games and he loved working on cars and especially the time he spent with his children and family.  Jovonnie was well known for his artistic talents  and it was evident in his many drawings.

Survivors include his father, Joseph Franklin, Atchison, KS; a son, Jamarion Franklin; two daughters, Saraya Franklin and Marcionna Franklin-Smith; four sisters, Shaquan Wallace, Talisha Franklin, Shaontei Franklin, Arhianna Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharna Franklin; a daughter, Faith Lynn Beadles; and a brother, Davonn Franklin.
