Joseph Bradley Clark

Joseph B. Clark, 60, Atchison, Kansas died Friday, September 23, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB, officiating. There will be no scheduled visitation with the family prior to the services. Interment will follow in Cummings Cemetery, Cummings, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Joseph was born February 21, 1956 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Norval J. and Harriett Durkin Clark. He attended Catholic Elementary Schools and then attended and graduated from Atchison High School. Following high school he attended Northeast Kansas Vocation Technical School.

Joseph and Gail Yvonne Roberts were united in marriage on July 17, 1992 in Atchison, Kansas.

He was employed with Golden Star in Atchison as a mechanic for over twenty one years until very recently due to ill health.

Joseph and Gail enjoyed spending their spare time together, while he enjoyed fishing, working on wood working projects, boating, building model airplanes, and practice shooting with his gun. He was also an avid fan of antique automobiles.

Survivors include his wife Gail Clark of the couple's home in Atchison; step-son, Jacob Hopple, Phoenix, AZ; two step-daughters, Deborah (Darren) Gilliland, Atchison, KS, Sandy (Doug) Grippin, Cummings, KS and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Clark.
