Joseph J. Buford

Joseph J. Buford, age 62, of Atchison, Kansas, passed on December 22, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care. He was born on September 5, 1962, in West Memphis, Arkansas, the son of Gwendlyn Buford and later moved to Atchison.

Most of Joe's friends referred to him as "Dancing Joe". He loved his family and enjoyed model cars and flying drones.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gwendlyn Buford. He is survived by his aunts, Everline Hanmont and Lottie Buford; and his many cousins and extended family and friends.

Joe's Homegoing Service will be on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Rev Paul Kelley will provide words of comfort. Joe will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atchison. Funeral care is being provided by the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
