John P. Bledsoe, 41, Huron, Kansas, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 as a result of a motorcycle accident.
A memorial service will be Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 5:30 PM in the chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will follow the service until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Atchison Humane Society.
John was born April 27, 1974 in St. Joseph, MO, the youngest son of Robert W. and Beverly K. (Jameson) Bledsoe. He attended school in St. Joseph, MO.
He and the former Michelle "Shelly" Linaweaver were united in marriage on May 3, 2014 at their home in Huron, Kansas.
He worked at Bradken in Atchison, Kansas, as a maintenance storekeeper for eleven years.
John was a man with a big heart, who had a helping hand for anyone who ever asked. He enjoyed joking around and never came across a stranger. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle "Shelly" Bledsoe of the couple's home in Huron, KS, three step-sons, Cody Hunt, Topeka, KS, Derrick Hunt, Leavenworth, KS, Dylan Hunt, Ft. Campbell, KY, one step-daughter, Morgan Saunders, Salisbury, MO, three step-grandchildren, two brothers, Robert (Prueksa) Bledsoe, Darrick Johns, four sisters, Margo (Shawn) Wiedmaier, Lesley (Richard) Cunningham, Bridget (Kevin) Endsley, Sophia (Regino) Aceret, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
