Jean Paul Stonebraker, Sr., 41, Atchison, Kansas, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at his residence.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the Riverbend Bible Church in Atchison. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Jean Paul Stonebraker, Sr. was born October 20, 1975, to loving parents Bill and Bonnie Stonebraker in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
To family he was known affectionately as J.P. to those he proudly served beside as a tanker in the US Army he was known as Stoney. Most knew him as Paul, son, or dad.
Paul graduated from Interlake High School in Washington state in 1993. After graduation he joined the Army and was honored to serve at Fort Riley Kansas.
In 1997 he married and had two sons, Josiah Benjamin Stonebraker and Jean Paul Stonebraker, Jr. (PJ). He was a resident of Manhattan, Kansas for several years and spent the last five years in Atchison, Kansas. He loved the Lord and was a friend of the Riverbend Bible Church.
Survivors include his father, Bill Stonebraker, sister, Erin Cary, sons and their mother, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie, Grandma Caoline Beckwith.
