James J. Weber, 64, Atchison, Kansas, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Atchison Senior Village.
Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Benedict's Church with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, OSB as celebrant. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Parish rosary will be recited Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 6:00 PM with visitation to follow until 7:30 PM at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
James was born September 18, 1951, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Ralph B. and Eileen (Mullins) Weber. He attended St. Benedict's Elementary School, St. Louis Elementary in the Good Intent community and graduated from Atchison County Community High School in 1970. He attended Benedictine College.
He worked for the Blish-Mize Company in Atchison, Kansas, for 39 years as a warehouseman. He enjoyed his family, listening to rock-n-roll music, watching movies and playing cards. He was an avid supporter of his nieces and nephews during their sporting events. He was a member of St. Benedict Parish in Atchison.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Weber, Atchison, KS, sisters, Elizabeth Kane, Mary Jane Handke, Mary Ann Krusemark, all of Atchison, KS, aunts, Dorothy Mullins, Atchison, KS, Delores Moranz, Mountain Home, AR, Ruthanna Ramsey, Topeka, KS, uncle, Robert "Bob" Weber, and numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, John Thomas Weber.
