James R. Myers

James R. Myers, age 63, died on October 19, 2024, at his home in Atchison, KS.

James was born on April 15, 1961, in Atchison, KS, the son of Edward Myers, Sr. and Anna (Hays) Myers. He graduated from Atchison County Community High School.

James is survived by his wife, Tammy (Muller) Myers. They were married on July 3, 1992, in Fayetteville, AR. He is also survived by his children, Juan Gonzales of Hiawatha, KS, James M. Myers of Warrensburg, MO, Andrea Myers of Atchison, KS, Leah Davidson of Oregon; two sisters, Brenda Merrill of Huron, KS, Ruth Colby of Horton, KS; four brothers, Donald Myers of Huron, KS, Duane Myers of Rushville, MO, Dwight Myers of St. Joseph, MO, Daryl Myers of Emporia, KS; and his nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Edward Myers, Jr., and a sister, Bonnie Merrill.

Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. A visitation was held on Sunday, Oct. 20th at the funeral home.
