Georgia Ford

Georgia Ford, 99, of Atchison, Kansas, died, Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Atchison Medicalodge.

Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home and no formal services are planned. Interment will be at a later date at Sunset Memory Gardens in Atchison, Kansas.

Georgia was born February 29, 1924, in Atchison, Kansas to George and Anna Scholz.

She and Norman M. Ford, Sr., were united in marriage on November 10, 1944, at the First Christian Church in Atchison. Mr. Ford preceded her in death in 1993.

Survived by her daughter, Karen High, Gladstone, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Norman Ford; and a sister, Esther Brown.
