Ernest B. "Chip" Reynolds, III, 40, Morrill, Kansas died Friday, January 26, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident in rural Hiawatha, Kansas.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas, with Rev. Sean Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Family Cemetery, north of Atchison. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 31st from 11:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to assist with funeral expenses and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home, 208 North 5th Street, Atchison, Kansas 66002.
Chip was born January 20, 1978 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Ernest Benjamin "Ben" Reynolds, Jr., and Opal Jones Reynolds. He attended Martin East and Martin West Elementary Schools and Atchison Junior and Senior High School.
Chip was self-employed all of his adult working life as a mechanic, working on cars, motorcycles and most anything that involved a motor. In his free time he enjoyed driving cars and motorcycles and most all motorized equipment.
He is survived by his mother, Opal Reynolds, Morrill, KS; a daughter, Kristina Cook, Faucett, MO; a sister, Angelina "Angel" (Roger Kley) Reynolds, Falls City, NE; a niece, Natasha Kley and a nephew, Daltone Kley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Reynolds; his former wife, Mary Hink; maternal grandparents, Harry and Zona Jones; and paternal grandparents, Ernie and Darlene Reynolds.
