Elsie L. Eis, 92, Atchison, Kansas, died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Country Care in Easton, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1175 and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Elsie was born February 6, 1922, in Horton, Kansas, the daughter of Auta and Goldie White Greer. She attended school in Horton, Kansas, graduating from Horton High School. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1175 for more than 20 years.
Elise and George Eis were united in marriage on November 5, 1965, in Prior, Oklahoma. Mr. Eis preceded her in death on September 11, 2011.
Survivors include a nephew Larry Dean Cashman, Hiawatha, Kansas and a sister-in-law Sharlene Purdy, Petaluma, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Debbie, and an infant daughter Linda Lee.
