Ella M. Holloway

Ella passed away peacefully at Country Care in Easton KS on March 28th, 2021.

The family will be having a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Interment will be in the Wayne Cemetery in Lewis, Kansas.

Born to Hugh and Marie(Martin) Adams in Fellsburg, KS Ella attended and graduated from the Lewis schools in Lewis KS.

She worked for "Fast Go" in Elton Mo. making electric motors until retirement.

She married Troy "Butch" Thixton in Miami OK. on June 15th 1971 until his passing on April 17 2000. She later remarried Charles Holloway on February 12 2007 in Marshall MO.

Ella enjoyed painting, crocheting and playing Bingo.

She is survived by four sons Chris Smith of Springfield MO, Mark Smith of Belton TX, Kurt Smith of Kansas City MO, and Clay Thixton, her 3 step Children Charles Thixton of Pueblo Co, Erik Thixton of Lexington Ne, and Helen Canton of Hutchinson KS.  1 brother William (Kent) Adams Of Lexington MO and 1 Sister Janet Dixon of Larned KS. She has 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Lee Abelson and her Brother Cecil Ellis.
