Earl J. McNames, 79, Nortonville, Kansas, formerly of Atchison, Kansas died Friday, October 7, 2016 at Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville, Kansas.

Mr. McNames has been cremated. There are no services scheduled. Final arrangements were entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Earl was born September 11, 1937, in Pratt, Kansas, the son of Lyman J. and Mildred Howe McNames.

Mr. McNames is survived by a niece, Michelle "Suzie" Fitzpatrick, Atchison, KS.
