Donis Allen

Donis Kaye Allen, age 64, of Atchison, Kansas, passed on June 7, 2025.

Homegoing services will be on Saturday, June 14th at 11:00 a.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Donis Kaye Allen, 64, was born, May 6th, 1961, to the late Carolyn Jackson and the late Charles Churchill in Atchison, Ks. As a young girl she lived and went to school in Houston, Tx and resumed her studies in Kansas when the family moved back. Donis remained in Kansas raising her family in Atchison.

She really enjoyed cooking especially tacos, fried chicken wings & pork chops! She loved playing games with her family and friends. She could be seen out on her porch watching her grandkids play and talking to people passing by.

She was so very loved and known as Aunt Donnie to a host of nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family and friends who would stop by along the way to say hello. Donis was the middle sister of Peggy Clayton, Sherry Allen-Manigault, Toi Allen, Diane Jolly, & Billy Allen proceeding her in death are Brother-in-law Dennis Clayton, Sister Charise.

Jolly, Sister Arthene Allen-Mackey, Sister Deneen Allen, grandchildren Amere Allen and Alyssa Bryant.

She was blessed with four chilren and they are left to cherish her memory Shawnte' Jenkins. Rickye Jenkins (Jessica), Derisha Campbell and Paula Campbell.

Her Special Friend Porter Webb, grandchildren and great grandchildren in whose hearts she will remain.
