Donald Lee Weaver, Jr., 50, Huron, Kansas died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his home in Huron.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Conard officiating. Interment will follow in Old Huron Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation prior to the services. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donald Lee Weaver, Jr. Memorial Fund in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Donald was born February 15, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Donald Lee Weaver, Sr. and Bertha Garrison Weaver. He attended schools at Lancaster Elementary, Lancaster, Kansas, Huron Elementary, Huron, Kansas and Atchison County Community High School, Effingham, Kansas.
He and Carrie K. Stepp were united in marriage on June 4, 2011 at their home in Huron, Kansas.
Donald had been employed with Bradken as an arc-air welder for the past nine years until his health failed.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie of the home, two daughters, Jessica Weaver, Kansas City, MO, Alica Weaver, Huron, KS, a step-daughter, Shyann Stepp, Lawrence, KS, four sons, Matt Weaver, Atchison, KS, Jason Weaver, Kansas City, MO, Dillion Weaver, Huron, KS, Joshua Weaver, Huron, KS, his mother, Bertha Weaver, Atchison, KS, five sisters, Sherry Strober, Oregon, Donna McCray, St. Joseph, MO, Rosie Weaver, Atchison, KS, Christy Weaver, Oklahoma, Laurie Weaver, Atchison, KS, two brothers, Paul Weaver, Leavenworth, KS, Jason Ochoa, Alabama, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son James Lee Ray Weaver and his father, Donald Lee Weaver, Sr.
