Donald Myers

Donald Myers, 70, Huron, Kansas, died Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Mosaic Life Care.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Atchison. Memorial contributions to assist with funeral care may be left to the funeral home.

Donald was born, January 16, 1955, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Edward Myers, Sr. and Anna (Hays) Myers. He began his schooling in Shannon and attended Atchison County Community High School.

Donald began working with his father and brothers in construction and later was employed with Bradken until his retirement in 2020. In his youth, Donald enjoyed building model cars and has always enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Colby of Atchison, KS; three brothers, Duane (Brenda) Myers of Rushville, MO, Dwight (Melissa) Myers of St. Joseph, MO, Daryl Myers of Emporia, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Myers, Edward Myers, Jr., and two sisters, Bonnie Merrill and Brenda Merrill.
