Denise Green, 42, Effingham, Kansas died at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ziegler officiating. Interment will follow in Monrovia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 25th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Denise was born January 23, 1970, in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Bill and Jerline Duggan Green. She graduated from Atchison County Community High School in 1988. Following graduation she attended Highland Community College.
She was formerly employed with the Doniphan County Education Co-op. Denise then worked at Triumph Foods in St. Joseph, Missouri, for a year and a half.
Denise is survived by a son, Michael Burge, Lancaster, KS, her parents, Bill and Jerline Green, Effingham, KS, and two brothers, Eddie Green, Beloit, KS, David Green, Atchison, KS, a niece, Madelyn Green, three nephews, Mason Green, Marshall Green, Kasey Green and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
